Beret

If you know me, I am a totally hat person. They are so great for many reasons. If you are having a bad hair day or you haven't washed your hair in a couple days, hats can hide all of that. If you're just wearing jeans and a t-shirt, it's such a simple way to instantly elevate your look. Another reason I love hats? They are great way to stand out against the crowd and will ensure that you are anything but basic. Because you wants to blend in anyways?

I am so glad berets have come back into style because I've loved berets ever since I was a little girl. My mom had a navy wool beret that she passed down to me. It was slightly itchy, but chic nonetheless! Unfortunately I have misplaced it so I decided to get another one by upgrading to a burgundy velvet style from Forever 21. It looks great with a sweater tunic & over the knee boots, like I wore in these photos, or a grey check print suit which is another popular winter trend at the moment.
