Courtenay 2020

My boyfriend, Adam, & I went to visit my Mom & twin sister, Vanessa, on Vancouver Island about a week ago. I stayed for about a week & Adam stayed for the weekend. My Mom just moved into a new place in Courtenay so we stayed with her there. She's got a gorgeous backyard with a rushing river in her backyard. The weather was pretty nice the entire time.

The first day my twin hosted a tie-dye party in my Mom's backyard. I tie-dyed a couple shirts & a pair of denim cut-off shorts while snacking on olive cheese-balls and strawberry-lime daiquiris. I'll be doing a blog post later this month to show you all the pieces I tie-dyed.

My Mom has an awesome bathtub with jacuzzi jets so I made sure to take advantage of it. I filled the bathrub with bubbles, lit some candles, sipped on a glass of rose & listened to my Coachella playlist.

My twin brought Adam , my aunt's dog, Abby & I down to a beach in Comox called Kye Beach. It was so stunning. The tide was so far out, you could see the sand for miles. 

One night we drove down to Comox Lake (on the cumberland side) & had a bonfire right by the lake. It was so quiet, we had the beach all to ourselves. The mountains & lake was such a pretty backdrop while roasting marshmallows for smores by the fire.

Vanessa took me to Comox Lake (on the Courtenay side) for a walk one day.

We rode some bikes to a trail near my Aunt & Uncle's old house & went for a walk through trail there.
