Last weekend, my boyfriend went to Vancouver Island to visit my twin for 5 days which was a blast! We spent 2 days in Courtenay, where she lives, and three days in Victoria. Both days that we were in Courtenay it snowed really hard which was scary driving on the roads there. But it looked really pretty when we went for a walk around Comox Lake. We ate some amazing food at Biblio Taco in Cumberland and Gladstone Brewery in Courtenay.

My twin, boyfriend, and I drove to Victoria on Friday and stayed in a hotel there. My twin used to live in Victoria so she showed us all the hot spots. Some of the restaurants we went to were Floyd's Diner, Big Wheel Burger, and Pagliacci's(which has the best garlic bread in the world). On Friday night we went to a record store to watch my twin's friend perform & then went to Distrikt Nightclub. During the day on the Saturday, we walked around the harbour and parliament building downtown which was pretty cool. Later that night we went to Distrikt again because we had so much fun the night before. On our last day, it was pretty shitty weather so we decided to watch a movie in the IMAX theatre which is the biggest one in Canada. 

I'll definitely be back to the island for a visit again soon!
