Velvet

One of my favourite trends this Fall season is velvet. It is such a lush texture and the material reminds me of the 90's. Whether you're a huge fan of velvet or trying it out for the first time, there's many ways you can incorporate it into your wardrobe this season. If you are huge on this trend, try it in a shirt, jacket or even pants. If you are a bit more skeptical, try it in an accessory, like a sneaker, ankle bootie, bag, or baseball cap.

Velvet is perfect for fall time and can be worn all the way into winter for the holiday season. I incorporated velvet this season into my wardrobe with a solid black shell that my mom used to wear in the 90's. I styled it three different ways to give you some inspiration on how versatile velvet can be, especially in a colour like black.
