Colour Combo

Mixing unexpected colour combinations is a great way to take your style to the next level. Whether its with your accessories or through your clothing, it always elevates your outfit. It makes your look anything but basic, especially when a print is involved. For this ensemble, I mixed an eggplant purple with mustard yellow and navy blue. The cat eye sunglasses and white kitten heel pumps added to this retro 50's inspired look. 

Some other colour combinations I love to mix and match are cherry red and turquoise, bright orange and hot pink, and olive green and dark brown. Next time your putting your outfit together, I encourage you to have some fun with it and try mixing and matching colours you wouldn't expect to see together. If your struggling to find out what colours work well together, try looking at a colour wheel and see which colours are opposite each other on the wheel. These colours usually complement each other and look great worn together.
