White Oxford Shirt

A crisp white tailored, oxford dress shirt is a staple and necessity in any women's wardrobe. Often times. Originated in the 19th century by Scottish fabric mills, the Oxford shirt has been around for years and years, so it's no wonder it's a classic in both men & women's wardrobes. It's valued by consumers for its versatility, effortlessness, and breathable characteristics. Fun fact: it is 1 of 4 shirts named after a university.

It can be tricky at times to style this classic item in a way you haven't done so before. Here, I've given you an unexpected take on styling this men's white oxford shirt from Topman for a brunch date. I layered a black lace tee & tons of necklaces over top of the dress shirt for an eye-catching look. The mismatched check trousers keeps this sartorial outfit polished. A fun, feathery bag and long, grey puffer only add to the ensemble. To take this look even further, I left the bottom three buttons open on the oxford shirt & threw a cuff on one of the sleeves.
